Shontal has a Bachelors in Fine Arts and Interior Design that was attained from the Art Institute of San Antonio. She really enjoys working with clients, listening to their ideas, and then bringing them to life. She enjoys rendering and sketching because that is when the client can be shown that their dreams are beginning to take shape.
Describe your go-to style:
My go to style is incorporating renewable pieces of furniture or fabrics into a space. By taking old fabric to make accent pillows or table linens to bring color into a room. Keeping the area open to allow more natural light into the room.
What drives you to design?
Part of my drive for interior design is to bring a dull room to life. Rearranging the furniture, incorporating additional lighting, and color that pops.
From where do you draw most of your inspiration?
I draw inspiration from the abundance of natural materials, floral arrangements, and minimalistic themes found in Japanese design.
