Molly is an Atlanta-based designer who has spent the last three years designing multi family spaces including both the model apartments and common area leasing and amenity spaces. While working for a local design firm, she has also kept many residential clients in her spare time. Molly's design style is influenced by her personal eclectic taste, and she has a knack for space-planning problem-solving. She loves craft beer and bargain-hunting, and on her days off can often be found at home with her husband, and pups, Jax and Charlie.
What drives you to design?
I'm driven to design through problem solving. Whether it is a small space, existing furniture pieces, or mixing patterns, I enjoy a challenge. I know the importance of balancing all aspects involved in design: creativity, organization, space planning, lighting, the client values, ands much more. Putting all those pieces together to create something beautiful is why I chose to become an interior designer.
We know you love designing, but what about it do you love most?
What I love about design is having the ability to transform a space. Not only do I enjoy creating something new and stylish, but providing function. My goal is to always take a room or house and make it a home
From where do you draw most of your inspiration?
I find my inspiration in my daily life. I love seeing creative store fronts while out running errands and shopping. Set design in my favorite. Television shows and movies, always gets my creative wheels turning. Finally, I seek inspiration in the work and products of local artisans in my community.
