Tell us your biggest design secret:
It's always about the client! You need to learn how to listen and understand. Clients usually don't know how to express their style and needs, especially if they are not coming from a creative profession. You have to know how to ask the right questions, read between the lines, and take every bit of information they provide. Everyone has each own world hidden inside, and it is a designer's job to read it and make it a reality. I see people through their colors, shapes, and tones, trying to figure out their universe.
We know you love designing, but what about it do you love most?
The way you can start with an empty space and transform it into something fascinating and beautiful. How adding the smallest detail can set a completely different tone in the hole space. Design process is very complicated, especially starting with an empty room, but in the end, when everything is finished I love the way it looks so effortless, like it has been there the all time, like it belongs.
From where do you draw most of your inspiration?
Traveling is my great love. I believe it affects my life greatly in most aspects, especially my designs. Learning about different cultures, and how people are living helps me understand different ways design works, and how I can make it better. Differences you learn about are remarkable, and opening your mind to this beauty let you grow your internal world and helps you to recognize and build your personal style.
