Project Description:

Look and feel of the apartment should make you feel like you are on a wonderful vacation. Kind of like walking into a hotel for the first time. Pure relaxation

IMPORTANT NOTES:
* The appartment windows face North. The view is MUCH better when sitting on the left side facing the right side of the windows (i.e. facing West). That view you can see the water and Manhattan. Where possible all beds, couch, seats etc. should face that way to maximise the view
* Overall look and feel should be masculine and cold
* Favorite color is blue
* Artwork is a key need of this project
* I really like Room and Board furtniture
* I did order the Coles Bar cart from Room and Board but it has NOT arrived yet. I ordered it with the stainless steel (lighter colored legs) . It is due to arrive the week I move in. I don't think I need it anymore though. What do you think?
* I would like to get the Adrian 6 door dresser for my bedroom from Room and Board. I would get it matching to the new night stand (i.e. walnut and dark colored legs) - Should I proceed here?
* The mirror that we have above my bed in the old place is very heavy. I am nervous having something so heavy above my head when I sleep. I would prefer something else

I do feel we need to ensure there is some contrast in the room as it shows up well on camera

I do not like the Youtube studios that are super dark with very dark wood. I would like a bit lighter for mine. I was thinking of a lighter walnut like the Fully desk I have attached. That would contrast well with the comptuers.

I have decided that I am open to having some artwork on the walls, so long as its not relfective of light

I am open to painting the walls in this room

I do feel we need some floor covering like a rug to help with the echo

I like the layout you have already suggested. I do think we need at least one large shelt behind the Youtube desk if we put it perpendicular

I also would llike a charging station (maybe set of draws) out of the way near the cupboard.

I do want lots of room as i intend to have the desks on wheels so i can move them around for different setups. I'm also going to put the light and camera on wheels too.

I like all my current furniture. I would be open to changing the cofee table. If the round dining table doesn't fit. I would be open to changing that, although changing the dining table is not ideal.

I like the large blue artwork above the couch from last project and the blue artwork pictured in the frame (I can upload a better photo of it later but something is in the way).

I also like the rug but open to changing it

I liked the bedroom style you designed alot, and mostly did what you suggested. I did get a different plant however, which i like alot.

I am thinking of placing the floor mirror I currently have in my lounge room in the new appartments bedroom, just outside the door to the ensuite bathroom, and at the entrance of the walk in wardrobe.

I am thinking of purchasing this Adrian dresser (6 draw version) in walnut with graphite base for the bedroom to go to the right as you walk in the room: https://www.roomandboard.com/catalog/bedroom/dressers/adrian-dressers . It would then match the bedside table I have now. I would buy a 2nd bedside table so i'll have the set.. What do you think of that for an immediate purchase? I'm worried that Room and Board takes forever to deliver furniture

In the new room though I would prefer not to have the mirror above my head. I am worried about it falling on me, it is extremely heavy.

Also i'm happy to change the bed frame.

The space already has a coat closet built in. I definitely would like someone to sit like a bench to put on shoes. Also somewhere to leave keys and wallet would be good too. Perhaps a mirror and some artwork

Since your room gets plenty of sunlight your color options are quite broad.

For your main color, we chose to use white/off-white as it offers a fresh, clean, feel to the space. White and off-white colors are often a favorite for walls because they are light, neutral, and match most color schemes. They are known to make rooms feel more airy and spacious.

Use a matte finish paint because it will be helpful in camouflaging those surface imperfections such as bumps and cracks as it does not reflect light. Just be careful because matte finish is more difficult to clean. You may also need to touch up scratches or marks by adding more of the same paint in the future.

Since your room is smaller using a light and pale color will enhance the light and the space in your room

For your main color, we chose to use white/off-white as it offers a fresh, clean, feel to the space. White and off-white colors are often a favorite for walls because they are light, neutral, and match most color schemes. They are known to make rooms feel more airy and spacious.

Use a matte finish paint because it will be helpful in camouflaging those surface imperfections such as bumps and cracks as it does not reflect light. Just be careful because matte finish is more difficult to clean. You may also need to touch up scratches or marks by adding more of the same paint in the future.
