Transitional Style Living Room and Bedroom Project Description
First, we really want to work with our last designer Selma. We have a navy wall, and tend to go towards a more contemporary feel. We need 100% new furniture. We want to keep our mirror, the tv and if you can make one or two of the wire art pieces work that would be nice. I would like a new Jewelry Armoire. The curtains are nice, a little long and a little hole-y from our cats but we liked the color and how they looked. However, my husband loves them. Maybe curtains with smart roller shades underneath that are blackout? We would love to be able to hook up "smart shades" just like our den.
I was looking for kind of geometric art. I love these geometric ceramic foxes that are white. I will attach a picture.
I would love to replace the fan with a cool light fixture. I thought this brown fibrous one in one of the attached photos was cool.
I also attached some rooms that we liked. We liked the wicker looking light fixture in one of the rooms attached.

Morning light What do you currently dislike about the room?
No art, messy, not sure where to put everything. We would like a cool light fixture instead of the fan.We would like more art on the walls, and possibly something to hang behind the bar to put glasses or alcohol bottles on the wall.
In general, we like a lot of stuff in this room, but we can’t seem to make it all feel right and understand we might need to get rid of some stuff.
We would like some sort of window dressing.
What pieces of existing furniture, lighting, art or accessories do you want to keep in the design?
There is a wooden upright piano that will be sitting in place of the electric piano. It is old fashioned and frommy childhood. I’ll try to get a picture of it. It might not match great, but it important to me.
We like the bar and the chairs and the carpet. We don’t mind the coffee table. It just doesn’t all seem
To fit. We understand we might have to get rid of something.
The bar is functional, there is a beer fridge near it that kinda needs to stay. We would be okay replacing it with something nice if something was found.
We have a fire place tool set we need to keep.
We like the lamps, especially the orb one, but get they both might not fit.

Looking a little too rustic. Our furniture is actually broken. What pieces of existing furniture, lighting, art or accessories do you want to keep in the design?
We like the curtains, but want to put a “smart” shade behind it. We like the mirror and the moose and fox wire art. We could be convinced to not keep all the wire art. We also want to mount the tv. Also, we like the curtains but a bit too long. I’m not sure if they are worth hemming. My husband thinks they look good on the floor. I’m not sure I agree.
