I have never been able to figure out how furniture fits in this room. It always felt kind of awkward. What pieces of existing furniture, lighting, art or accessories do you want to keep in the design?
We want to keep the piano. We also have a set of Lane Acclaim tables that were my parents that I am refinishing. We can use them or not (I can use them downstairs if they don't work in here). We would also like to keep the West Elm plant stand

Living Room:
Since your room gets plenty of sunlight your color options are quite broad.
For your main color, we chose to use green because it is soothing to the eye. It reminds us of nature and has a refreshing, stress relieving quality. Green is suitable for any room. In bedrooms it’s relaxing and pleasing, while in dining rooms it promotes overall balance and health. This soothing color encourages relaxation or tranquility, but has enough warmth to encourage comfort and harmony.
Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish
