Timeless Bathroom Transformation

Absolute musts in the new bath are:
Place to put up my magnifying mirror (photo of the mirror included)
Place to plug in a fan (I'm that age where I need a fan on my face in the morning whilst doing my makeup)
Pull out drawer for blow dryer and flat iron (they are always out on the counter, I don't like that)
A bench in the shower so I can shave my legs

I have included photos of the bedroom, I think it's important to have a flow from one room to the other. Bedroom wall color is Dunn Edwards Ashwood, ceiling is Whisper. I do not want a lot of bright color in the bathroom. I also don't like mosaic type tiles, too trendy. I did a glass/marble mosaic kitchen backsplash a few years ago, it makes me dizzy.

I do like the idea of offsetting the white with warm wood tones (see the mirror above the bath in photo 3319. I love this.) I also like the tall cabinets in photos 3216 and 3218. I think that could be very functional and provide a spot for my magnifying mirror/hand towel bar.

Our house is a modest single level ranch style in Costa Mesa. It is bright and airy, we try to keep clutter at a minimum. Living room, kitchen, dining, den and hallways are all painted Dunn Edwards Fine Grain.
