Project Description:

We built a house last year and moved to a house in the suburbs from a 2 bedroom condo in the city. We "fit" our existing condo furniture into our new home -- and need to really make it our own now. We need help with our combined living/dining room, as well as our foyer/entrance. Really looking for help on paint colors, furniture, rugs, and lighting suggestions. We have a few things on the walls that we want to keep in the living room (the Chicago picture, the mirror above the fireplace, the "today is a good day" sign, and the clock) but we are really looking to "spruce up" everything else. The current TV we have is a 46" -- We will plan on mounting a new/bigger TV to the wall next to the fireplace. We are also open to replacing the buffet that the TV sits on now. For lighting: we are also looking to replace the lights in the foyer area and also for new lights/chandelier above the kitchen table. In the foyer, we are also looking for some sort of bench for the entryway.

We do not like our sectional sofa in this space. We want to add some color as we moved into a white house. We fit our existing furniture into this space and looking to "upgrade". As mentioned before, we will plan on mounting a bigger TV to the wall (in between and 65" and 75" inch) and are open to replacing the buffet piece of furniture that the TV currently sits on. We also do not like the valence above the shade drapes we have. We like the actual drapes but not the valence.

We recently had wainscoting and crown molding installed which also needs to be painted. We are looking to get this painted a semi-gloss white and need suggestions for paint on the walls as well. We also would like to replace the light fixtures.
