Midcentury Modern Guest Bathroom Remodel

Project Description

Interested in an 8x5 Guest Bathroom Remodel in a more modern Midcentury Modern design. I want the sink to be floating. Convert the tub to a walk-in shower with controls on the right (contractor recommends) and shower head and handheld shower combo on the left wall where existing hardware is. A built-in Bidet replaces the toilet. I have some renderings from another site but I am looking for other ideas (from Decorilla). I am leaning toward the entire bathroom tiled with maybe one wall painted or wallpapered but leaning toward the entire bathroom tiled. The color palette would be predominantly white-black with a splash of color on the shower wall. I am converting the large shower window to a smaller 20x48" awning window. There will be a new exhaust/heat fan installed. Interested in lighting design ideas. Thanks -Dan

Since your room is smaller using a light and pale color will enhance the light and the space in your room

For your main color, we chose to use white/off-white as it offers a fresh, clean, feel to the space. White and off-white colors are often a favorite for walls because they are light, neutral, and match most color schemes. They are known to make rooms feel more airy and spacious.

Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish
