Contemporary Boys Room

I need help designing both of my son's bedrooms in our new house. They are 3yo and 5yo.

Bedroom 1: Although the walls are black, i like the look of this room as it is staged currently. However, my 3 year old boy will be using this room. The pendant light and checkered rug will be staying. I am hoping that a designer can choose a bed, nightstands, and perhaps another piece as well as some accessories to make the black work for a young child. There is a large walk in closet, so there is no need for additional clothing storage. Perhaps a nice chair/ottoman for reading would work great. Pieces with dual functionality are key. He needs a place for books and some toys. Really wanting to see if we could make the black work. I don’t intend for this to look like a typical toddler room and I want this room and furniture to grow with them. He loves trains and animals.

Bedroom 2: This is currently set up as an exercise room. The gym flooring will be removed and hardwood underneath. Walls are grey and will stay that way. Looking for more of an industrial look. There is a chandelier and sconce in the entry that i would like to match for the center of the room. There are 2 ceiling fans that i will be removing. As above, i need a bed, nightstands, and perhaps a couch seating area on the right as this is bigger. Again, i don’t intend for this to look like a typical 5 year olds room and I want this room and furniture to grow with them. He loves trucks and construction.

I like Restoration Hardware. For beds and nighstands-having real wood is a must. I also like West elm.
