I need yor help with my living room.We use our living room also as a TV room.

The space is not practical. There is unused space. The fireplace is old and needs to be remodeled.

I would like to have a seating arrangement (with a sofa, or love seat or chairs) for watching TV. I'd like to have another seating arrangement in front of the fireplace. I am considering having a bench in the middle section between 2 sets of furniture that can be used for both sides when I have company. But it might be too much. I love curtains but I have shutter over my windows: is there some way to get curtains to work in the space?

Living Room:
Since your room is smaller using a light and pale color will enhance the light and the space in your room
For your main color, we chose to use blue because it is calming, relaxing, and serene. It ris reminiscent of blue skies and deep blue oceans. This color works well in bedrooms and can help turn your space into a soothing sanctuary. For your main color, we chose to use white/off-white as it offers a fresh, clean, feel to the space. White and off-white colors are often a favorite for walls because they are light, neutral, and match most color schemes. They are known to make rooms feel more airy and spacious.
Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish
