Marcela is a Licensed Interior Designer with 18+ years of extensive experience in Residential and Hospitality interior design, where she has collaborated on a wide range of projects all over the world. Being able to appreciate and value different styles and design elements maximizes the different approaches any interior design challenge could bring. Her way of viewing any new project is with critical thinking an open mind to possibilities that make a big difference, but her goal is for every client to enjoy the process of creating a place they can call home.

What drives you to design?

My passion for design makes me a great believer that Interior Design has a direct impact on other people's lives. My design approach is based on creating meaningful and aesthetical environments that complement and suit the lifestyle, purpose, and personality of each of my clients. Making the dreams of every client a reality is my outcome.

From where do you draw most of your inspiration?

When working in a creative field as Interior Design, we have the ability (and blessing) to find inspiration from everything that surrounds us. It can be a place, a texture, a color, a smell... anything can be the first spark for an amazing design. My main interest in every project is to adapt the diverse needs and translate ideas into unique designs that are functional, comfortable, and captivating.

I consider myself an interior designer who easily adapts to any design style or aesthetics while maintaining a cohesive design concept. This skill is key when working in a multicultural environment like an online design advice service, as it broadens the possibilities of your design. Being able to appreciate and value different styles and design elements maximizes the different approaches any interior design challenge could bring.
