Project Description

I just bought a new apartment and I need help with my living/dining room since I'm starting from scratch. I have the floorplans and pictures of the space. I like Scandinavian design so I'd like something in that style. I live alone so I need the design to be for 2 people with options to cater to 4 people whenever I have guests over.

My main requirements are:

Sofas and armchairs to accommodate 4 people.
Intimate seating for two people.
Dining for upto 4 people.
A TV in the living room.
Plants and greenery.
Some artwork.

Ideally, I'd like most of the stuff to be from Ikea since it's the easiest to shop there and get everything delivered. We also have BoConcept and similar stores here which we can use for a few pieces.

Combined Living/Dining:

Since your room gets plenty of sunlight your color options are quite broad.

For your main color, we chose to use white/off-white as it offers a fresh, clean, feel to the space. White and off-white colors are often a favorite for walls because they are light, neutral, and match most color schemes. They are known to make rooms feel more airy and spacious.

Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish
