She needs pieces that fit her very high ceilings. There is a lot of bright light that comes into this room, so that should be considered when arranging the furniture.

What pieces of existing furniture, lighting, art or accessories do you want to keep in the design?

She likes her sofa, but it is showing signs of wear already. The chairs need to be replaced.

She likes the pieces in the room in general, but it needs to be refreshed and she would like to see something different.

The media cabinetry will stay. It is 85"W x 92"H.

Changing the wall color would take up the majority of the my budget, so I'd love to see if we can make it work. It is Sherwin Williams Latte 6108.

Living Room:

Since your room gets plenty of sunlight your color options are quite broad.

For your main color, we chose to use brown as it reminds us of nature and has a relaxing quality which is easy on the eye. Darker browns work well as accent colors and lighter hues like tan and beige can match and unify most rooms.

Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish
