Project Description

We have a small kitchen (not an eat-in) that needs updating, dining room that needs to be finished and hallway/entryway that needs help. I would like help selecting new cabinets, counters, etc. and any novel ideas for the large windows that surround the front of the kitchen and into the dining room. As well as the dining room finishing touches and the hallway/entryway ideas.

The rooms don't blend with your new living room design that Catz has done for us and that we love. The dining room is mostly complete, but needs finishing touches, the hallway and kitchen are bland and outdated.

What pieces of existing furniture, lighting, art or accessories do you want to keep in the design?

In the dining room, the table and chairs and buffet (and ideally the lamps) will stay. The armoire in the corner of the dining room is a family heirloom, however it doesn't need to stay in the room just somewhere on the first floor of the house.

Kitchen:

Using lighter colors in your medium-sized room will make it feel more airy and bright

For your main color, we chose to use gray because it is neutral and seen as elegant and classy. It compliments many colors such as white, blue, and yellow and works well as part of a color scheme in any room.

Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish
