For your main color, we chose to use white/off-white as it offers a fresh, clean, feel to the space. White and off-white colors are often a favorite for walls because they are light, neutral, and match most color schemes. They are known to make rooms feel more airy and spacious.
Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish

The ceiling has a lot of potential I think. We will definitely need window coverings. There's no light every shining directly into the room but there are multiple windows so it is a bright room. It's a blank slate

The light fixture you see in the staged photo came with the house. We don't have to keep it but since it's there, if it could be incorporated then that would save us money. In question 10, photos of items you want to keep, I added inspiration photos instead, color tones we like, ideas we had.

This is for the master bedroom on the second floor. We would like wallpaper to be incorporated on the walls but other materials are welcome too. We do plan to put a TV up on the wall opposite the bed, but it would be nice to have in encased in something or more discrete in some way than just mounted to the wall. We also want nightstands that are wide and have at least 2 drawers. Ideally the nightstands would have a middle section where we can store a book or laptop since we read and work in bed a lot and don't want to have to place it in the drawer or on top of the nightstand. This would be ideal so we could hide charging cables as well. We don't want a bed frame that is too low to the ground and don't want it in a hard material that sticks out that we could hit and hurt ourselves on like some platform beds we've seen. The bed frame itself doesn't need to be exactly Japanese style. It's more about having a Japanese-like getaway that is warm (like wood tones) or cool tones, modern, with some nature aspects.
