Modern Beach Style Living Room
Project Description:
We need to completely redo our living room. When you walk thru the front door it’s the first thing you see. We have a casual, coastal vibe. We like people and pet friendly furniture that will stand up to two big dogs and two cats. We know we need a better layout but we have no idea why that is. The seating pieces need to be comfy enough that you will stay to read a book or have conversation. The area to the right of the fireplace is where are son likes to play guitar and sing to entertain us. We put the Christmas tree their in December. If we ever get past COVID, our son will head off to college, and his “stage” will go with him. We used to have FLOR tiles, but we had to remove them as they damaged the wood floors. We will need a big rug to cover up the damage. It needs to be easy to clean in case of cat or dog vomit. Doesn’t happen often. The wet bar area needs to be accessorized. It’s a hot mess right now. We’ve had a hard time finding inspiration pics. Perhaps we are over thinking the whole room. We just want the room to comfy, inviting and easy to maintain.
