Minimalist Bedroom with Home Office Design
Project Description:
I am finally getting around to designing my bedroom. It currently is devoid of much personality and I am looking to make my bedroom into a modern and relaxing space. Because I live in a small San Francisco apartment, this space also doubles as my home office, with a little desk on one side. My bedroom furniture (bed frame, dresser, side table) are about 5 years old and my desk is about 3 years - I'm inclined to keep these pieces but am willing to buy something new if I fall in love. I've been thinking about designing this room for a while but am struggling to find the right aesthetic. I alternate between a minimalist, clean design that incorporates geometric patterns to a bold design with bright colors and something unexpected. Adjacent rooms use greens and blues, and although I like those colors, I'd like to explore a different color palette in my bedroom. I have a dog that loves to sleep in my bed, which makes white bedding difficult to keep clean. I'd also like to incorporate some plants into the room too.
