His & Hers Home Offices Project Description
We are purchasing a new 3 bedroom apartment and want help designing the living room/dining room, the master bedroom, an office/peloton room and an office/guest room. We are looking for help with all of the furniture and design, rugs and paint colors. Of note, the living room has a ~12'x12' (currently painted) wall which has a fireplace in it. As part of the design, we'd like to cover that wall with stone/marble (including replacement of the current fireplace mantle), and we'd appreciate help in making the selection there in addition to paint throughout the rest of the apartment. We are also thinking of a built-in desk in the corner of the living room in a material that matches the fireplace. Thank you, and we look forward to working with you! Location

The paint color is too yellow, and I hate the wood panelling with built-in lights underneath the window; I definitely want to take that out. We are also considering removing the closet to open up more space for a pull-out couch (so it can function as a guest room) as well as a sizable desk. What pieces of existing furniture, lighting, art or accessories do you want to keep in the design?
We have a tv that we would be interested in wall-mounting if it fits, but it is not necessary if the tv ends up not working with the design. Are you open to changing your wall colors?

We have a pinterest board with some thoughts if helpful! This will be my office and it needs to do double duty for guests when people visit. We are thinking of a pull-out couch, a sizable desk (with at least some drawers in it), a hanging chair if it fits but we’re open to not having that depending on the designer’s views, and a wall mounted tv across from the couch. To do this, we might need to take out the existing closet. I love a contemporary / transitional style and vacillate between black/white/gray and wanting pink everywhere. When we uploaded our inspiration photos, all of the office photos are really inspiration for this room, not my husband’s office.

Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish
