The shower has rot behind the cultured marble. we are taking advantage of the opportunity to update it all. We like light and warmth so I would like to consider hardwood vs tile floors. I do not want a stand-alone tub as I use my tub almost daily and need to have access to the shampoo/soap/salts/etc. I like alcoves that hide all this stuff. it seems garden tubs are out. I found a 48x48x32 Japanese soaking tub. I bought it as everything was selling out so fast, so I am hoping with can make it fit. There is a crawl space under the house so the tub can be sunk if desired. We also want to replace the toilet with a toilet/bidet. The large window sits 20” off the floor the small window is 46”. Soffits could be removed. Also the wall between the tub and counter. There is a water tank in a closet that could be replaced with a continuous gas wall unit. Doing this and replacing the wall mounted toilet would allow us to gain 20 more inches as shown in the floor plan if desired. What pieces of existing furniture, lighting, art or accessories do you want to keep in the design?
Nothing in the bathroom needs to stay. A picture was included of some knickknacks on a table that could be used. There is also an additional panel from the painting in the bedroom that could be used. We like the neutral remote shades, they match the others in the space, as well as the one on the front of the house. In the bedroom, we like the furniture. The bed frame or dressers could be painted if needed. There is also a large insert piece for the headboard that can be switched with the existing piece and upholstered. Additional photos of the adjoining closet area and bedroom are included as I want the end result to flow, so you need to know that I do want the painted panels to be in the bedroom somewhere. Other colors could change but need to blend. The built-in cabinet fronts would need to change if different ones were selected for the bathroom. As I indicated in my sign up I did do a chat on line and do understand there will be a customized fee for working on this bedroom space. I don’t know how to add that on, but assume that’s done after the bathroom. I included an image with the room photos that shows the current layout of the bathroom. We are open to rearranging tub/shower/vanity/everything. I do think I want a “fandelier”, as I get very hot blow drying my hair in the summer. Mostly we just feel very spoiled that we have this opportunity to hire professionals and we are excited to see your ideas! May you find something in the home we love that makes you love it too!

For your main color, we chose to use white/off-white as it offers a fresh, clean, feel to the space. White and off-white colors are often a favorite for walls because they are light, neutral, and match most color schemes. They are known to make rooms feel more airy and spacious.
Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish
