I don’t love this room as its been staged. I don’t really like the headboard or any of the furniture or rugs they’ve used. I also think we can do better in terms of layout given that its an ample portioned room.

What pieces of existing furniture, lighting, art or accessories do you want to keep in the design?

It currently has a blue floral wallpaper and curtains that are fine, but not awesome, so we will may want to replace. The chandelier is nice, so we can keep that or we can change if needed.

In terms of actual furniture, we are starting from scratch here :)

The windows face west, so we should get morning sunlight.

I like tufted, upholstered headboards in neutral colors. Given the size of the room, I'm thinking a king makes sense.

I don't want a tv in this room. I don't need a vanity or a dresser for functional reasons, however, we could put in a dresser to fill the space.

We've selected Benjamin Moore Calm as your wall paint color to go with the wall paper. A matte finish gives the appearance of flat with the added benefit of some washability.
