My daughter is moving into this studio apartment Sept. 16th. We can't get into it until the 8th for exact measurements but the agent gave us the layout of the studio apartments. The difference is my daughters windows don't span the entire wall (like the floor plan shows). I have a video of our exact apartment I can send it. Natalie is only living in this space for 8 months until she moves into a larger apartment so we'd like to keep the spending on furniture to a minimal ($5K would be idea) but we understand if you have to go slightly above that. We are allowed to wallpaper and hang pictures. It'd be nice though if the wall paper was the easy peel and stick so there's not a lot of labor involved to put it up.

Using lighter colors in your medium-sized room will make it feel more airy and bright

For your main color, we chose to use white/off-white as it offers a fresh, clean, feel to the space. White and off-white colors are often a favorite for walls because they are light, neutral, and match most color schemes. They are known to make rooms feel more airy and spacious.

Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish
