I'm so happy to hear that Anna :)
I'll get on with the final package then!
  • Anna
It looks great! I really love the combo of everything. Great job!
  • Anna
    Great, me too!
  • Eleni P
Hehe, not at all :) I have in mind these ottomans in a pretty light teal shade that I think would look great in the space. I'm very pleased with the natural vibe of the final decor and, truth is, this is my favorite of the proposals thus far! So, I proceed with the final renderings asap!

I think I like the tropical rain forest with the other changes made. I don't see myself wanting a beach and I didn't love the cityscape look
  • Eleni P
Thanks for the feedback Anna :) I'll look it thoroughly and get back to you with an updated design. One note, for the wall mural, do you have something more specific in mind? There are mainly 3 categories we can choose from, a forest, a beach or a cityscape. I still find the first option (the one in the moodboard) really pretty but a tropical beach isn't bad either. Any suggestions to narrow down my search?
    Thanks!

Also, I would like to see what color options there were for couches.. I like the layout and the elements of the living room. I just want some of the colors a bit softer and not so so bold and stark.

    Thanks Anna!
I'll start working on these and I'll get back to you with the first drafts asap :)

Hi Eleni! The radiator is 25" w X 38" h on a wall that's 55" long. There's about 27" between the fridge and the radiator (14" of the 27" wall space between the fridge and radiator juts out a little further.

The floor space between the kitchen cabinets and the wall with the windows is about 107" inches. The length of the kitchen is 76"

Yes the closet door is on the wall where the mural or something like that would be.

I would want to see a few other options with the wall mural before saying yes or no . Something interesting on the wall would be nice. In terms of a small kitchen table or something of the sorts.. I was even thinking a table that popped out from the wall near the closet door would be perfect. The ottomans you picked out could serve as chairs for it. I've worked on space in the kitchen so if I got some type of a shelving unit it would definitely be for books... I have many of them! I definitely need curtains for the windows and if we needed to add a few hundred dollars to the budget that's fine. I just don't want to go over the top as I don't know if I will be here next year or not. Also, I like the mix of different looks. I want the look to be simple and relaxing with a mix of different pieces. I love the look of pieces that have the Latin American flair, but I don't want the whole room to be like that if you get what I mean. A touch of pattern here, a pop of color there, and 1-2 statement pieces such as a great lamp or great couch or great rug is totally worth it to me!

Let me know what else you need!

    Hi Anna,
thank you so much for choosing me to work on your studio space!

So, here are some things I need to get started (hope the length of the comment doesn't scare you :)

    1. Yes, I do have the sketch but I'll be needing a few extra measurements as well.

    2. Can you please specify the dimension of the niche where the radiator is, the sticking out part of the wall (where the fridge is) and the part of the niche until the kitchen cabinets?

    3. A dimension between the kitchen cabinets and the wall with the windows would be great too.

    4. Can you please specify the length of the kitchen?

    5. Also, the door that I'm seeing in the photo is it the closet door you're mentioning in the sketch?

    6. What do you think about the wall mural after all? Would you like me to incorporate it in the design or skip it and use a bright color instead? There are still other mural options we can discuss about. Maybe I can show you a couple options in the first drafts so you can decide more easily.

    7. Are there any other objects from my style board that you definitely like or dislike? Also, is there anything else that you feel is missing and you'd like me to add?

    8. As you understand, due to your tight budget, we’ll have to stick mainly to the basics. I was wondering if you'd be interested in going over it by a few hundred dollars so we can create an even more complete space. Keep in mind that you don't have to buy all the things at once! The final e-decor package you'll be receiving in the end can help you streamline your decorating process through a period of time that will make you feel comfortable (with an exception of a few objects that might be in shortage or are unique pieces). Please, do tell me your thoughts on that. Either case, rest assured I'll do my best to present you with a cozy and adorable apartment in any given circumstances!

I’m looking forward to your reply!

    Best,
    Eleni

    Hi!

I just moved in.. I am definitely going to need some type of small pantry or place to store plates and cups, given the small kitchen space. If you could add something like this into your designs that would be helpful!
  • Vicki O
    Hi Anmaniaci,

I'll be putting a design together for you as well and quite looking forward to it. Like the other ladies already said, there's a lot of information to go on already, it seems ok. I'll be in touch if I need to know anything else :)
    ~ Vicki.

Great! looking forward to everyone's designs!

    Hi Anmaniaci,
your new space is so cute ^^ It definitely needs some freshening up, though ;) Can't wait to start working on it! I'll let you know if any questions arise during my designing.

    Yes! Thank you so much.

    Hello Anmaniaci,

I'm Michelle. I actually don't have any questions yet I just wanted to introduce myself and to let you know I'll be working on your project! If I have any questions I'll be sure to let you know, but for now I think I have plenty to work off of. Thanks.
  • Anna
Does that answer your question by the way?
  • Anna
    Hi Veronica,

I would like a comfortable place to lounge, some type of small couch preferably where I could put my feet up after a long day ha. And some type of small table to eat at or something I could use for multiple things if possible. Thanks!
  • Veronica T
    Hi,
Thanks for answering Christine’s questions and congratulations on your lovely new apartment! I love your style and am excited about the project. Just wondering, what are the pieces of furniture/decor that you see as most important in this design (if you had to choose:)?
    Thank you!
  • Anna
    Hi Christine!

Definitely relax. I work a lot so when I come home I want to chill, I do stay home most monday's as I work on weekends setting up events so I am doing work sometimes on monday's (a kitchen table of some sort would be helpful).

I like entertaining, but it would be having a friend or two over for dinner. Not large gatherings.

If I could get 3-4 seats that would be great!

I have lived in China and Latin America, I can continue to travel when I have the time. I will be going to Istanbul this September! I have great photographs from my travels and I am always inspired by international cultures and history.

I love artwork and design so all of it.

    Thanks!
    Anna

    Hello Anmaniaci,
It's great to start a living space with a blank slate! Can you answer a couple of questions to get a better feel of what you envision?
*How will you mostly use the space? To relax? Do you work from home at times? Do you entertain?
*In terms of seating, what's your desired number of people to seat?
*What kind of travel do you do?
*Regarding artwork, what is your preference; photographs, abstract prints, landscapes, architecture?
    Thank you!
    ~Christine

Also, I need to be able to have a kitchen table area as well, the living room is really multi function as a kitchen area, living room, etc.
