Classic Contemporary Interior Design
Project Description:
I am purchasing a 2 bedroom condo that I want to transform into a warm and comfortable home. The building is modern with a bit of industrial (exposed pipes in hallways), the doors (including cabinet faces) are more transitional, and the lobby is decorated in an eclectic natural theme. I’m thinking a neutral palette. If we use color, I would like to see it more in accessories, as color trends seem to change rather quickly. As far a quality, I would like the best and most interesting that my budget will allow. There is a view of the mountains from the kitchen/dining area. I would like to make a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the sunset colors as they are so beautiful here. The primary bedroom is a bit small, so I would like to see efficient use of the space (perhaps a headboard with built-in night tables and lighting. Also would like to have a place to sit. Guest bedroom should be decorated for adult guests. Again a compact space. I’m ok with queen beds in both rooms unless you can figure a way to get a king in either one or both. The 2nd bathroom serves as an en-suite bath for guests as well as a powder room. I would like to see a more interesting vanity (preferably floating) with good lighting. Also some type of movable wall to give separation when used as a powder room. Wondering if the bathtub/shower tile can be re-grouted?
