Project Description:

I just moved in and need help with the living room, family room, dining room ,bedrooms and basement. Depending on cost I would like to focus on one room at a time and do the projects over time.

NOTES:
Just moved into our home a week ago. I had a two bedroom and moved to four. We don't have a lot of furniture.

The home is dark and needs to be lightened up. The address is 29 Indian Hill Road, Brewster, NY. You can see photos on Zillow.

I have rugs upstairs and need hardwood. I need help with the color pallet. I have a leather sofa in the family room that I would like to keep if it will work.

Using lighter colors in your medium-sized room will make it feel more airy and bright

For your main color, we chose to use gray because it is neutral and seen as elegant and classy. It compliments many colors such as white, blue, and yellow and works well as part of a color scheme in any room.

Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish
