I have a studio apartment that is 601 sq ft. At this moment I only want the main area designed. It is a combo area. Living room and bedroom. I already have a couple furniture pieces to design around. Not really sure what is my style, but I have an idea.

I have a couple pieces of furniture that I have been looking to include - A modern looking black recliner loveseat with middle console similar to this - https://www.wayfair.com/furniture/pdp/latitude-run-erik-double-glider-reclining-loveseat-latr8250.html?piid=20269792. I do not want power. Or I would not mind something similar to this... https://www.wayfair.com/furniture/pdp/latitude-run-geir-convertible-sofa-w001422750.html?piid=510894818 However the problem with that was that it was too small. The look, the multifunction was perfect.

Additional comments to designers:

1) Currently, the simulator and the gaming desk have to be on the same wall as they do require the same PC. I do not want to have to buy another pc to control another PC, but I will if need be. I will hold off on the mockups. I do want to see a concept where the simulator, TV, and gaming desk are on the main wall.

2)I would like to have a divider of some sort. Can use cube shelves as I can add cubes and store my trophies and paintings in them. I also saw a nice curtain divider from https://roomdividersnow.com/products/zenfinit-room-divider-kits?variant=21618872156241. it was my first choice, but I am liking the versatility and functionality of the cube shelves(similar to book cases being used)

3)I like the black and red color-scheme. Black as the main furniture, but using red as the rugs, curtains, accesories, pillows, bed sheets, etc.

4)The TV stand that I have now may be able to allow an electronic fireplace underneath it. Mainly for the lighting effects. My TV has nice LED effects on the back of it that I like.

5) Yes, I like to set moods and environments with LED lights if possible. It gives it a modern, tech feel.

6)I do hobbies, so I would like a small area for hobbies. I bought a display rack for storing completed hobbies but that may not be needed with an effective cube shelf for the dividing. Also having a space to do home workouts would be nice.

7)There is a 5 x 3 space that Id like to effectively use. It is in the attached floor design.

8) I want to avoid hanging shelves, etc. This is an apartment and I just like refraining from hanging things on the wall. I do have pictures that I may want to hang up, but they do not have to be in the design...if need be, I can send pictures of my pictures. I like furniture that I can easily assemble and disassemble. That is why I like my TV stand. It was so easy to move and so versatile and space saving.

Ok, I'll go with number 2. I ordered it and I ordered the comforter. I will wait for the other one to be available and get it. Should we change the pillows since we changed the rugs?

Hi Rodrigues,

Please review the attached options which help you to have a better idea :). I am afraid that the first option is more burgundy again. The second and third options both look good. If you like more black in the rug, I suggest yo to go with option#2.
Regarding the comforter, I also like the initial comforter more. If you can wait, I think it will be the better idea. However, if you later need an alternative comforter , I think its a good idea to buy both !:)

We can go with the first listed rug. It is similar to the others. If you want I can send you the picture of how things are turning out so far...Right now, all my red items are not here....except the dining room chairs.

I am not sure. They both are fine. I have no idea which one looks better with the current layout. I also want to know what you think about the comforter dilemma....should we just go with the first one you listed or wait for the original one to arrive late Jun... The pattern on the other comforter is what I like. I could just get both...

Attached are the dimensions. A note on the patio window door - the measurement is for actual door, however, there is the shade that already came with the apartment. Not sure if I can temporarily remove that for something else. I will have to ask. If not something will have to go around it. The measurement for that is 72 1/8 "
