Since graduating from Colorado State with a BS an Interior Design, Stephanie has dived head first into the design industry, working for both residential and commercial firms. Stephanie's passion stems from creating spaces that are functional, healthy and attractive. We spend 90% of our lives indoors, therefore it is so important to her to create spaces that work in harmony with how we live.
We know you love designing, but what about it do you love most?
I love that I can be creative in a practical outlet. In this industry, creativity is encouraged and I love creating spaces for people to enjoy and thrive in. I love seeing my work, sketches, selections etc. come to life in a substantial way.
From where do you draw most of your inspiration?
Most of my inspiration comes from other creative industries like fashion, architecture, modern art etc. There is a common thread of design that runs through the different professions that I feel are very applicable to what I do.
Describe your go-to style:
• Blend of traditional and contemporary styles • Clean lines, neutral back drop, colors & textures • Bold patterns, bright colors, lacquer accents play into the 1930’s glam vibe • Contemporary eclectic: cohesive mix of with furniture, accents, emphasis on art. Playing with color, scale, texture. Not one dimensional, neutral backdrop My go-to look is contemporary electric; clean lines, neutral backdrop and playing around with color, scale and texture. I love creating a space that shows a cohesive mix of furniture, accents with a strong emphasis on art.
