Merry completed her Masters of Architecture from Boston Architectural College and her design career encompasses valuable experience in residential and commercial projects. She has a Bachelors in Architecture and work experience from India which adds to her skill set as a designer in the Boston area. Merry values the one-on-one communication with the client, which often gets trivialized in a traditional office setting where information percolates through several tiers and she intends to revise that practice. Her passion for creativity and spirit in life radiates in her designs!
We know you love designing, but what about it do you love most?
The trust that a client shows in the designer to create a space that would enrich their day-to-day lives and the hope in their eyes for a future with endless possibilities when the designer delivers a concrete design out of a dream, is what I live to experience.
From where do you draw most of your inspiration?
I feel that my life and experiences in India as well as my on-going explorations of this multi-cultural country and its people would always be an unconscious inspiration to my creativity.
Tell us your biggest design secret:
When designing a space, I like to choose a focal point to draw the eye. Then, I play with textures and colors around it to achieve the perfect harmony. Harmony is a key word for me in design and in life.
