Emily has a unique background: starting out working in the fast-pace, "Devil Wears Prada" world of TV production, she utilized her resourcefulness and innate love of design (she found herself spending all of her spare time designing her own home) to begin working in Interior Design. She completed her schooling while working her way up from being a design assistant. With her expertise, she prides herself on being able to create not just beautifully curated spaces, but homes. Her goal is to make it feel so cozy, safe and inspiring you may never want to leave.
What drives you to design?
The concept of home has always been important to me. Ever since I was little I would insist on creating a space in which I felt not only I could freely express myself, but one in which I felt truly at home. It's so important to have pieces you love and make you feel you are in your own little corner of the universe. I believe in waiting for the perfect pieces to create this curated and unique look. At the end of the day, we always return home, so it is so important it reflects who you are as a person in order to recharge and feel at peace. The biggest compliment I can ever receive from a client or friend is to hear how at ease they feel in any space I have created.
We know you love designing, but what about it do you love most?
I love when you walk into a completed room and can feel how the energy of the space has changed. A room that you once felt "meh" about, now makes you smile from ear to ear. Seeing all of the hard work come together, and truly feeling the new energy of the space honestly gives me goosebumps.

Don't be afraid to wait for the perfect piece! I constantly search vintage shops for that perfect and unique piece that will really give the space its own special design DNA code. Treasure hunting is always worth the effort.
