Veronica T
Veronica grew up in a world with interior design at the forefront. Her mother, Adriana Tutundjian, is an accomplished interior and furniture designer in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Veronica's a Parsons The New School for Design graduate who specializes in residential projects in NYC. She loves to mix mid century classics and contemporary furniture. She's drawn more to a neutral-toned palette mixed with rich and diverse textures. Her diverse past career experiences in business only complement her pragmatism and creative skills as a designer.
From where do you draw most of your inspiration?
I love to drown myself in interior design magazines and my favorite brand catalogs as much as
possible. The more exposed I am to inspirational design, the more knowledge I will have to apply in my design projects. My favorite Magazines are Wallpaper and Dwell.
We know you love designing, but what about it do you love most?
The transformation of spaces - to see a space become and feel like something completely new and fresh. I also love how this transformation changes the lives of those that inhabit it.
Describe your favorite project:
A Barn House in upstate NY. I tried working with as many local artisans as possible to, not only support the local community, but also try and reflect the authentic aesthetics of the region. Although challenging to work under these constraints, it yielded great results and happy clients.
