Describe your go-to style:
My go to style is traditional with a twist of modern. For example, I love designing a beautiful traditional style room with a cool pop of modern art or an unexpected wallpaper print. The end result is a unique blend of fun and sophistication!
What drives you to design?
My love for design truly developed in my 20's. I enjoy creating a stylish yet cozy space for myself and family to unwind in after a long day of hard work. One of my favorites quotes by Laura Ingalls Wilders is "home is the nicest word there is."
From where do you draw most of your inspiration?
In 2012, my husband and I visited the palace of Versailles and Marie Antoinettes Petite Trianon for our honeymoon. These amazing structures inspired me to begin a design career. Versailles is a jewel of baroque French architecture. I LOVED roaming the chateaus gilded hall of mirrors with its gleaming chandeliers hanging from above. The parquet flooring is breathtaking! Marie Antoinette's petite Trianon is understated elegance! The use of marble, delicate floral patterns and soft paint colors are simple yet lovely.
