From where do you draw most of your inspiration?
I draw most of my inspiration from people. I’m always looking around to look and watch people. Through this, I am able to find things that open my eyes to something different every day, which gives me inspiration in my work life.
Tell us your biggest design secret:
I always think outside the box, actually, let me rephrase. I always do my best to think outside the box. When there is an idea in my head, it is so easy to get stuck with that idea and try to only make a result out of the idea. However, when I become too invested in one thing, I take few steps back, and start thinking outside the box. This always gives me different and better ideas that I would have not been able to come up with. Another thing I always focus on is that there’s no wrong answer in design. I try my best to incorporate ideas and designs that satisfy and meet the standards of my own goals and beliefs.
What’s your prediction for the next big trend in design?
My prediction for the next big trend in design would be modern style intertwined with antique style. Designers are always out there to come up with something new and modern. However, at the same time, rest of the world may want to keep or incorporate a bit of their current or old styles. It is hard to find a good balance with these two concepts. Every year, whether it is in fashion, interior design, or architecture, trends tend to repeat itself throughout time. It is important to incorporate both old and new designs which is why I believe the combined styles will become the next big trend in design.
