Sarah N.
Sarah has a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. She has worked as an interior designer for a large international architecture firm in for over 2 years. After spending her college career lounging on the sandy beaches alongside the Atlantic Ocean between classes, Sarah draws her inspiration from the small beach towns. She loves the simplicity of modern, clean spaces that have been infused with the warmth of natural elements such as wood, rattan and woven baskets.
From where do you draw most of your inspiration?
Definitely from traveling and constantly changing my surrounding environment. Whether it’s hopping on a plane to Switzerland or walking to a park in a nearby neighborhood, I find inspiration in the transition of spaces and places. As I continue to travel, I truly believe that I continue to evolve as a designer.
Describe your ideal project:
My ideal project is one where the client is able to openly express their wants and needs. I love the visioning and mood board stage of design, where the client’s design aesthetic really shines through when working together to compile imagery and inspiration words.
We know you love designing, but what about it do you love most?
I love helping people recognize the best spaces are when everything is purposeful or beautiful to the user. When the design is done with intention, a home should reflect a person’s values, experiences and joys to bring them a sense of belonging.
