From where do you draw most of your inspiration?
My inspiration, when creating a design for a client, comes from their chosen preferences on style, colors, furnishings, places they've visited and loved, their collections, their desires. Their inspiration becomes mine to fulfill. Guiding, assisting, and encouraging a client to express themselves in their home is only the beginning!
What drives you to design?
My main motivation is the freedom to combine textures, colors, patterns challenged with maintaining the lines of design (or not) together with keeping the practicality and functionality of a living space. Putting all the pieces together and seeing it create magic is my goal.
Tell us your biggest design secret:
My biggest secret is shopping everywhere I can to find what I need for a project. I will go everywhere and anywhere just to combine and complement pieces. Light also plays a very important role in creating mood effects and thus enhances the tones of everything in a room from the floor to the ceiling and everything in between including your skin and how it looks against your decor. Color plays a major psychological role in everyone's life and I use it carefully when consulting making my customers aware that they will grow in and out of color choices.
