My biggest design secret is to first think about the functionality of the space. When a room is properly laid out it can begin to describe things like scale, materiality and color distribution.
What drives you to design?
I'm an architect, so I love designing spaces, but the fact of wanting to fully complete the atmosphere that I'm looking to create is what drives me as a designer.
We know you love designing, but what about it do you love most?
Creating spaces that genuinely improve how people live and how they feel in their own homes is what I love the most of designing. It is a very powerful tool that can solve problems and change a person's energy and lifestyle.
