What drives you to design?
I have a deep appreciation for design and the arts in all their forms. In my role as an interior designer, I aim to connect the space with the activities that take place within it. I focus on understanding both the habits of the users and the unique identity or concept of each project to create designs that are not only visually appealing but also practical and in tune with the specific needs of each space.
Describe your go-to style:
When it comes to my design style, I prefer not to limit myself to a single approach. I believe in the power of mixing textures that feel warm and rich, such as wood, raffia, and rattan, and contrasting them with personal touches tailored to the specific needs of each project. Materials can dramatically change depending on their finish—wood, for example, can take on a lighter tone for a more rustic feel or a darker hue for a more sophisticated, elegant look. I also place great importance on carefully chosen accents, like art pieces, furniture, and design accessories, as they have the power to become the standout elements in any space.
We know you love designing, but what about it do you love most?
What I enjoy most about the creative process is the conceptualization phase, where ideas take shape and the essence of the project is defined. To me, this is the most exciting part of the process, as it sets the foundation for creating meaningful and memorable spaces.
