A client recently approached Decorilla seeking interior design services for three distinct washrooms in their newly acquired house. Their project entailed the transformation of their spacious master bathroom, a narrow guest bathroom, and a small powder room. The client envisioned some floral and tropical wallpaper and wood-reminiscent tiles that would create a cohesive atmosphere. Therefore, the designer’s main tasks were to:

Design Inspiration: Trendy Bathroom Wallpaper
The inspirational gallery curated by the client clearly communicated their design aspirations for the online bathroom designer. An array of bathroom designs showcased several related styles with a common attribute: each was adorned with botanical and floral wallpapers.
But the gallery pointed past the wallpaper too. Alongside the botanical prints, the client’s images leaned on brass fixtures and wood-toned tile. A tropical strain ran beside the florals, palm leaves and denser greenery marking the pictures meant for the smaller spaces. Together, the references set a natural direction the designer could carry from the master bath through to the powder room.
Initial Concepts: Finding the Right Designer
The imagery found in the inspiration gallery rendered a comprehensive visual roadmap, allowing the team to capture the client’s exact vision for decorating a bathroom. Beyond that, Decorilla’s interactive questionnaire highlighted all critical aspects of their lifestyle and habits. Armed with solid insight, the design team proposed two specialists who crafted bespoke proposals for a bathroom with a feature wall.
Betsy M.‘s remarkable attention to detail emerged as the client’s choice, particularly prominent in the floral wallpaper bathroom. Although trendy, her bathroom wallpaper ideas exuded a timeless touch with a mural-style pattern of blossoms and leaves.
Results Revealed: Modern Bathroom With Floral Wallpaper
The result is an elegant retreat that seamlessly blends functionality with aesthetics, inviting the owners to unwind in style. While the modern floral wallpaper in the bathroom defines its atmosphere, the centerpiece is a luxurious freestanding bathtub topped by a lavish chandelier.
Positioned next to a large window letting in abundant natural light, it enhances bathing rituals with a picturesque view. Next to the tub, a contemporary glass shower stall does its job without any added visual weight.
Adjacent to the contemporary shower room, we find a double vanity with brass fixtures and hardware perfectly complementing its creamy pastel hue. The extensive size offers ample countertop space for the couple’s comfortable grooming, supported by a substantial wall mirror. Two sleek LED sconces flank the mirror, while the matching floating wall cabinets provide additional storage for bathroom essentials.
Following the client’s wishes, a designated makeup desk floats on the opposite wall. It follows the same sleek design language, complete with a velvet chair and storage drawers that neatly house cosmetic essentials. A brass oval wall mirror above the desk reflects warm, flattering light, making it the perfect spot for getting ready. Just above the mirror, a floating shelf displays a framed print and a potted plant, infusing a touch of artistry to complement the modern bathroom feature wall.
Blending Function with Style
The master bath had a full program to hold. It had to fit a bathing and showering setup plus a designated makeup station. Grooming now splits across two walls: the double vanity takes one, mirror and sconces included. Opposite it, the floating makeup desk sits beside a tall cabinet. The split lets the couple get ready at once and keeps the floor open for the pattern to read.
Guest Bathroom With Geometric Bathroom Floor Tiles
The guest bathroom exudes modern minimalist sophistication, balancing clean lines and subdued patterns. Geometric bathroom floor tiles softly juxtapose the texture of the trendy bathroom wallpaper gracing two of the longer walls.
On the adjacent narrow wall, a pristine white paint has been carefully chosen to amplify the sense of spaciousness within the bathroom. This wall also subtly diverges the walk-in shower cabinet from the rest of the space. However, a standout feature in this layout is the blue vanity, strategically placed to convey visual interest and pop against the neutral color palette.
