White & Blue Modern Farmhouse Kitchen Remodel

Hi! We are ready to move forward with a kitchen / dining room remodel for our house in Boise, ID. We have worked with a general contractor to get a rough estimate of the cost for the project based on tearing down some walls and redirecting gas lines etc. However, we really need to work with a designer who can propose an overall layout and style for us. This is a big investment for us so we want to ensure the space is as functional and beautiful as it can be (within our budget).

Additionally I have attached photos of our existing kitchen and the adjacent dining and living areas that may structurally be affected by the kitchen remodel due to the fact that we are open to having one or more of the adjoining walls come down.

Ultimately, we want our kitchen to be the main focus, which will likely impact the structure of the dining room (i.e. walls torn down or modified), but we are not looking to have the dining room itself remodeled. Additionally we would like the living room to be a main part of the project where we get full remodeling done with furniture, etc, using some of our existing pieces.

We have Home depot scheduled to come out on Saturday to get the floor plans created for us so we should be able to send those over by mid-week next week
