Everything. The countertops are glass??. The shelving is unreachable. The seating is not integrated to the island so we need a table which make it cluttery. The storage is not well-designed. I need somewhere for the dog food, currently it sits on the floor in a bag. There's no dishwasher at the moment.
We want to put a door where the sink is, and have direct access to the patio, then relocate the sink.
All the appliances need to be replaced.
There's an arch and a column that need to be integrated into the design somehow.
What pieces of existing furniture, lighting, art or accessories do you want to keep in the design?
none.I was thinking of concrete-ish countertops and replacing the floor tile with a lighter grey concrete-ish style oversize tile.
The house is a mediterranean style villa, so kitchen should fit that vibe, but I'd like to get as modern and functional as possible.

Kitchen:
Using lighter colors in your medium-sized room will make it feel more airy and bright
For your main color, we chose to use white/off-white as it offers a fresh, clean, feel to the space. White and off-white colors are often a favorite for walls because they are light, neutral, and match most color schemes. They are known to make rooms feel more airy and spacious.
Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish
