Traditional Feminine Living & Dining Room Decor Project Description
We have been re-decorating our home. We have new hardwood floors, new carpet, new paint and a few rooms already complete. I need help with entryway, living room and dining room as they all flow together. This will include 2 new chandeliers - 1 in the entryway and 1 over the dining table. We just re-did our small powder room off the entryway, so I want that to tie into the new design. The living room has 2 built-in book shelves and I'm wondering if I should have those painted? I need decor/accesories for the built-in's and for the dining room. The living room/dining room combo is carpet, so unfortunately area rugs won't work. I would be interested in an entryway rug. Our views out the windows are spectacular, so I'm not sure that drapes or curtains would be appropriate but I'm open to ideas. All windows have fabric blinds. Ceilings are 10' feet, and then coffer up to 11-12' as you go into the DR/LR. Entry way ceiling is 15' or higher.New paint color is BENJAMINMORE - Elmira White

Love the room, just need a look that pulls together the entire grand entrance. All new furniture. Existing furniture is just temporary and was in the house when we purchased it. Dislike the ceiling chandelier. Need something grand. Should this light match the entry way but be larger version? or just something that is similar? What pieces of existing furniture, lighting, art or accessories do you want to keep in the design?
Keeping only the large gold mirror on the wall. This goes above the dining buffet. Are you open to changing your wall colors?
