We have a Mediterranean style home. The interior is transitional style. We'd like to remodel a dated master bathroom that is 20ft x 15ft. It currently features a sauna, toilet/bidet room, shower area, and a built-in Jacuzzi. We'd like to retain the sauna and modernize/update the bathroom. We prefer porcelain and free standing tubs. We don't think a very modern style would suit a Mediterranean house. We want a calm and soothing, spa-like vibe.
Hi Erika - For the rest of the house we installed 2'x4' porcelain tile. Links attached. We are also smoothing the walls and ceiling so it's flat and painting the walls sandy white Benjamin Moore. While doing so, we are replacing the 6" recessed lights with modern 4" square mud in trimless recessed lights with zooz light smart switches. All this slides the house to be more modern. I'm wondering if we should change the style of the bathroom. Please note that we added a kitchen to the project and we like you to design it. We want a consistent look and feel for the house.
