Opulent Home Interior Design Project Description
Moving to a new rental in a new city starting fresh. Would like help with combined living/dining room and 2 bedrooms, and entry. We have the west elm mid century modern (acorn) 6-drawer dresser, armoire, 2 nightstands that we can incorporate somewhere (prefer guest bedroom). I love the look of: vintage rugs, antique furniture (love burled pieces), a bit of glam, dark walls and accent walls, lots of art, and midcentury. Also love wall paper. No kids, husband and dog and cat. Want to create a space that looks finished and has a sense of warmth and luxury. Several moves and life in general have given us a mismatch of stuff. I have attached the floor plan of our new place and a video. Location

Barstools needed for counter. Tv will be above fireplace. Would like a bar cabinet or cart. Not sure about a dining table. Floor space says there is room, I will leave up to you.I would like to incorporate a working space (table/desk and chair), but don’t want it to look office-y if that makes sense!
We have a dog, can we find a dog bed (he’s small) so he can lounge too?

Combined Living/Dining:
Since your room gets plenty of sunlight your color options are quite broad.
For your main color, we chose to use white/off-white as it offers a fresh, clean, feel to the space. White and off-white colors are often a favorite for walls because they are light, neutral, and match most color schemes. They are known to make rooms feel more airy and spacious.
Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish
