Our living room is the heart of our home. We'll use it for cooking, reading, playing guitar, and listening to music. We'll gather by the fireplace, play board games, and host family and friends. It's a place for bonding, relaxing, and enjoying time together.A few ideas we had:
- Replace the fan with a chandelier.
- Add wood slats to the ceiling. There are examples in our Pinterest boards. If you notice, the exterior of the ceiling has wood slats under it. Adding them to the living room would create a seamless look.
- Choose different chairs for the dining room table. We like the table we uploaded, but we will not be keeping the current chairs.

This will be our main bedroom. Here are a few ideas we had:- Replace the fan with a chandelier.
- A large dresser or armoire for extra storage of clothes. The closet in this room is not large.
- Add wood slats on the ceiling like we did in the living room. If you notice, the exterior of the ceiling already has wood slats underneath. Adding them would create a seamless look.
- We do not want a TV in this room.

Since your room gets plenty of sunlight your color options are quite broad.
For your main color, we chose to use white/off-white as it offers a fresh, clean, feel to the space. White and off-white colors are often a favorite for walls because they are light, neutral, and match most color schemes. They are known to make rooms feel more airy and spacious. This color should work well with the windows frames, but make sure to start witha sample and confirm that on site.
Use a matte finish paint because it will be helpful in camouflaging those surface imperfections such as bumps and cracks as it does not reflect light. Just be careful because matte finish is more difficult to clean. You may also need to touch up scratches or marks by adding more of the same paint in the future.
