I need help with our vacation home. The kitchen is a total restart. It’s has been demolished down to the walls. The flooring chosen, which is a laminate waterproof flooring (Serenade Oak). There is a pic below. I thinking a galley style kitchen. Partially because Preferred gas oven will need to be connected to a gas line that is best at the end of the wall with the window on the right if you are looking at the window. The stand alone stove used to be on the wall to the left of the door but the cabinets were not used fully They opened into the stove. With little space. If you can think of way for that to work then the stand alone stove could stay there. The other issue is the door is the commonly used entrance. I would like to feel peaceful, clean and oraganized on entering. The home is being repaired so no pics of the inside to show The great room which the kitchen has an open step down into it has open brown beams exposed in the ceiling. The next pics are out side the window and door. The ocean is not too far but just to say it is tropical. So light and airy but I don’t was beach style.
For the bathroom. It is the only bathroom. I thought of making two small bathrooms but decided the both would be so tiny. To take the two closets before the existing bathroom and make it one bathroom. Need to keep a tub and want a separate shower. My husband is best with a shower with seating. He is not wheel chaired disabled but is best with seated in a shower. Hopefully 11x6 can work.
