My Bedroom

Please note that the bedroom does already have one big item - Queen Tempur Pedic mattress with adjustable base. It stands a bit too tall to my taste, but I've been told that the legs can be screwed down to ~3" height and any non-platform bed with removable slats can be put around it.

I tend to prefer modern/contemporary styles, although I did previously find some items that are more along the transitional/rustic style - please see the attached Wayfair shopping list. I picked these mainly because of providing a sense of a "comfortable place to live in", functionality and a matching color gamut to my apartment. However, I realized that they're a bit too bland/"old-fashioned" to a person in their 30s, so I wanted something "fresher" and representing me more as a "young professional yet no longer in their 20s", if that makes sense. So please don't take those items as a good starting point, it is just something that previously made sense to me. I would like to focus on the function, while also spicing the style way up. However, as mentioned I do still need help choosing my style, so I am open to any ideas. (list is attached)
