Masculine What type of sunlight does this room receive?
Morning light What do you currently dislike about the room?
The lighting is too harsh under the lights and too dark in other places, especially at night or with the blackout curtains drawn. I like gothic and glam styles, but my decorating s skills are unrefined and everything ends up looking like a Halloween store. I’m thinking about moving the TV to the office and keep the room more of a relaxing/spiritual/romantic space. A bookcase might be good in here as well as a reading chair and lamp. There is also a large closet in one corner and additional storage space near the door. What pieces of existing furniture, lighting, art or accessories do you want to keep in the design?

Late afternoon light What do you currently dislike about the room?
Odd shape, not a lot of room especially with the home gym. I would like a cool work space with a zoom background with my vibe. Not too flashy because I’ll be in work meetings, but definitely some personality. This is also the room I’ll have the cats litter box so something maybe that hides it, so it looks nice and gives them some privacy? Also something to climb on in here might be fun if there’s room (I know space in here is limited), but my babies do love to climb! So sorry to be all over the place, but it might be nice to have a spot for a guest to sit between sets during a workout or for reading or talking while I’m working.

We didn't include a painting plan in this project because the client used their existing colors.Since your room gets plenty of sunlight your color options are quite broad.
For your main color, we chose to use black because it is authoritative, sophisticated, and powerful. It is a good neutral counterpart to any other color. Black is best used in small doses as an accent and can help to give depth to a room as well as make a dramatic statement.
Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish
