The dining table blocks the pathway to walkout to the balcony. I feel the dining table should go in the far corner instead, leaving the pathway openNot sure on sunlight, haven't moved in yet. The side with the mountains would be east, south would the windows the dining room table is facing, North would be the side the TV is on.

Sliding door faces south. I'm thinking either a couch that pulls out to a bed or that can retract and lay flat (although i feel these types of couches aren't as comfy), or a standard type of couch and a murphy bed that's also a desk (i'm thinking the murphy bed route is my preference)

Since your room is large your color options with this room are quite broad
For your main color, we chose to use gray because it is neutral and seen as elegant and classy. It compliments many colors such as white, blue, and yellow and works well as part of a color scheme in any room.
Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish
