Project Title:
Global Contemporary Living Room Design
Project Description:
I’d like to focus on the living room area of our great room. You can disregard the area with the instruments.
I am looking to update the living / family room portion of the great room that is located by the kitchen. To date, that area has been the main area for all TV watching and my 9 year old sons video gaming. We are looking to move the existing furniture out of that space and into our step down living room therefore allowing us to create a space that is for adults while sequestering the children to a different area of the house.
I lean toward greys and blues for furniture + accents. I love white, but since I have a 9 and 12 year old and a puppy, I don’t think white furniture is the way to go at this point in my life. I love a punch of color as can be seen on my Pinterest boards and gravitate toward pink, blue, purple, even orange.
One of the photos shows the space staged when we bought the house in 2009. The other photos are various angles of the space that depict how the area has devolved into something a lot less “staged”!
