no flow, furniture is too dwarfed, doesn't reflect the type of building. I don't like looking at the wall the TV is on while this magnificent view is being us. It feels cold with no rugs or delineation, the sofa is too soft and low and small arms. I don't mind Faux plants because we are only here 6 months of the year but nice high end one would be better. It doesn't have even personal touches photos fo rme, would like it to look classy/modern but not cold but with personal touches, pictures, etc. What pieces of existing furniture, lighting, art or accessories do you want to keep in the design?
I already ordered the Restoration Hardware 92 inch Oval Aero dining room table same color as this current one but this is 60 inch round and the one on order is 92 inch oval. I have 6 of the dining chairs, love them, they are Bernhardt and on casters, my friend thought of maybe adding a high whicker to end of the oval perhaps.I want to change the sofa, ideally a sectional but definitely not too low profile and firm, or two sofas. The two leather chairs that swivel I like, I like the two that are facing the window swivel also in a blue velvet, my husband thinks they are too soft but maybe the vignette or a vignette can be moved and they leather ones can be interlaced. I like the wood piece by front door and the mirror but seems like too much going on, that can maybe go in lobby, we are allowed to decorate that area as we choose as they are private. I like the long Vienna pice behind the sofa but doesn't have to stay there its too high for this sofa. I like the ottoman but again that could also go in my husbands office or stay. the window treatments can stay, the chandelier in the living room and vignette they can go, we removed the chandelier over the dining room as it was low and we moved the dining room table over. The rug is too small in the living room. I am not married to the TV cabinet and potentially reversing the entire orientation of viewing but I'm not sureI would imagine a TV would have to be kitty corner on opposite side of the room
