Project Title:
Calming and Soft Bedroom Design
Project Description:
We are moving into a new home middle of May and I am keen to get the rooms designed and decorated! I am looking to have a cohesive design across the house so whoever we land on choosing needs to take this into consideration. Rooms I’d like to prioritize for now is the master bedroom and depending on how that turns out, we will move through the rest of the rooms. I would love to give decorilla a try and see how it goes!
My vision for the master bedroom is for us to really have this calming space and a space where my husband and myself can spend quality time together. We do not have TV as part of our plan for this space. We love that there's a ton of light into the bedroom but would also like to be able to darken the room up to enable us to get really good restful sleep. There is a small semi space that is part of the bedroom and would like to make sure that that's included in the project - a place for makeup/hair drying. We are both from Asia - he is from India and I am from the Philippines - and we would really love to incorporate asian elements into the design. We dont want the asian element to be overpoweringly obvious but subtle - could be the fabric choice or use of natural materials (woven, wood, jute etc) or accessories, again dont want it to be obvious.
